Description
Lappert’s French Roast is made with a blend of varietal coffee. Depending on the season, we use Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Colombia.
Lappert’s is pleased to offer a commercial pack of fifteen pounds for restaurants and cafes.
French Roast coffee is roasted past the first and second ‘crack’. The time between french roast and burned is about 15 seconds, so it is important to be very careful to stop the roasting process at the perfect time. French roasted coffee is very dark and has a light sheen of coffee oils beginning to form on the bean. Dark coffee is not ‘stronger’. The darker the roast, the more caffeine is taken away.
